In an interview with TechRadar Gaming at BlizzCon, game director Brent Gibson quickly put concerns to rest and stated outright that players don't need to worry about the game's future, even though the studio is already working on the sequel. "If you're wearing the sign in the middle of Times Square that says 'The End is Nigh', the end is not nigh," Gibson said. "We have a lot coming," he added before acknowledging the Amazon class pack, coming to

"The train isn't stopping," he continued. "One of the things that I love
about our world is we're not a series of games. We are a universe. We are
even adding to Diablo 2 with that of the Warlock. It's one of the few franchises where we have the luxury to continue to play, and we know our communities are there multiple communities that make us a whole."
Gibson reiterated that if you're a fan and you're worried, "don't sweat it," because even though the team is excited about Diablo 5 , "we're going to be making content for a long time" and "we've got a lot of things coming," including the Netflix adaptation.
