After Rockstar Games finally announced the price of the game yesterday and revealed GTA 6 's Standard and Ultimate Editions, it was confirmed that physical copies will only include a digital download code in the box and no disc . US-based Loot Box Gaming is also taking the same position, announcing on X/Twitter that it "will not be supporting the release of GTA 6 ."
"When we started LBG, it was out of a love for our favorite form of media, gaming, as-well as the preservation of said media," the post reads. "If a product cant honor the people who pay their hard earned money to purchase it, then we have no business trying to sell it to our customers whom we value above anything else."
GTA 6 pre-orders are now live and will cost $79.99 / AU$129.95 / 69.99 for the Standard Edition and $99.99 / AU$159.95 / 89.99 for the Ultimate Edition.
