These as spotted by SamMobile across a series of articles include the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 5 , the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 5 , the Samsung Galaxy
A56 , and the Samsung Galaxy A36. This software has already come to more recent Samsung foldables, but this is the first time were seeing it on any Galaxy A models. However, initially, its just South Korea thats getting the One UI 8.5 update on these phones, but its likely, based on past form, that other countries will also get it in the next few days, so keep an eye out if you have one of these handsets. Youll probably get a notification when the update is available, but you can manually check in Settings > Software update > Download and install. The headline feature is arguably AirDrop support over Quick Share, but there are also other improvements to Quick Share, and to Photo Assist, as well as a more effective power saving mode, security improvements, and tweaks to the Weather app, the My Files app, and more.
