Asobo continues to discuss Sophia and the team's vision for her story, following brief hints of her past in A Plague Tale: Requiem .

While there's no official release date yet, the studio suggested that A
Plague Tale Legacy could launch this year, and confirmed that the team is in the stages of refining several aspects of the game.

"The coming months are critical: our compass is fixed on testing, balancing, and refining the game mechanics to deliver an experience as challenging as it is unforgettable," Asobo said.

Resonance will explore her childhood and young adulthood, but the main story takes place when Sophia is 22, around 15 years before the events of the first two games.
