The lenses and storage are the biggest differences between the Quest 3S and the standard Quest 3. The Quest 3 features dual-display pancake lenses that deliver sharper, seamless images at 2064x2208 per eye. The Quest 3S uses single-display Fresnel lenses, which are only capable of 1832x1920 resolution per eye.

As for storage, the Quest 3S offers either 128GB or 256GB. The 128GB bundle
is the cheapest option. Meanwhile, the Quest 3 only offers 512GB. That difference alone makes the Quest 3 a better investment for VR fans who
already know they will use the storage. If you do buy the Meta Quest 3S, I'd also suggest looking into our best VR games so you have others to consider after playing Batman: Arkham Shadow. Spoiler: Half-Life: Alyx is our number one.
