The answers to today's Strands, game #650, are STORMY TUMULTUOUS CHAOTIC UNRULY DISORDERLY SPANGRAM: THATSWILD My rating: Hard My score: 1 hint

This was one of those games where non-game words were much easier to find
than the ones we were actually searching for.

After getting nowhere, I took a hint and got STORMY. Next I saw tumult and continued connecting letters until I got the fantastic and rarely used TUMULTUOUS, a word that sums up our current age pretty well.

When wild turned out to be a non-game word I knew that it must be part of the spangram, but I didnt see that until I completed the entire board. I know
this is a word search game and punctuation is impossible, but it is hard to look at THATSWILD without the apostrophe. Yesterday's NYT Strands answers (Friday, December 12, game #649) TEMPEST MIDSUMMER SHREW TWELFTH MERCHANT MERRY SPANGRAM: THEBARD What is NYT Strands?
