  • Plex or Jellyfin?

    Plex has all of the additions and general searchability off site. Jellyfin
    is strictly on the server you're connected to. Is that the main difference?
    I don't need the extra confusing stuff and love Jellyfin. I've got a pretty big collection of Anime on mine.

    Yes, I think that's the main difference. Plex requires an outside
    internet connection to work, because I think it "phones home" at times. Jellyfin is completely local as I understand it.

    I have only a small collection of movie favorites and some international
    stuff that I enjoy (Turkish historical(ish) TV series).

    I know what Anime is but for the life of me, can't see why anyone would
    like it. ;-)
