    I'm curious why an HTML editor should require .Net? I've used a number of different editors and none had such a requirement.

    It's an old (retired) Microsoft program. It replaced Microsoft Front Page. I
    like it
    because it allows you to actually log into a server that has Front Page extensions
    installed and edit pages LIVE. It has a lot of HTML error controls built in t
    help ensure
    there are no errors in the page.

    I used a very old MS program, circa Win-95 era, that was sort of nice. It didn't require .net because, IIRC, there was no .net yet. :D I wonder if
    I still have a copy of it somewhere. It would probably make pages that
    were too simple for today's standards, though.
