    Extreme cold weather across the United States and Canada is making the news every day.
    Currently, I have my door open to let some cooler air into my home. Even though I have
    my air conditioning set for 76 degrees, it rarely goes on.

    I have lived in Florida since 1981, for quite a while in the Fort Lauderdale area. I am so
    happy we recently moved to the Tampa area. Golf cart weather during the day, and cooler
    temperatures at night. What more could I ask for!

    I know that there are a few sysOPs that live in Florida as well. What say you?

    When I woke up this morning it was 42f in my place. I leave just a
    single 2000 watt basebaord heater on overnight and in cold weather
    it usually keeps the place up around 60f (it's actually set at 70f
    but can't manage that when it's cold) and it was fairly cold (5f)
    and very windy overnight so there was no chance..

    Enjoy it there.. B)

    I spent 2 winters in Florida a while back, 5 months one year and
    4 months the next. Where we were it was like spring up here, not
    warm enough to swim in the ocean most of the winter (mid 60's)
    but I got to watch dolphins swimming the intercoastal waterway.

    I used to...until my late father's job transferred the family to
    central Arkansas in 1977...and I've been here ever since.
