• Multiple fsxNet Hubs (redundancy?)

From CloudDancer@21:3/226 to All on Friday, January 23, 2026 03:07:33
    Hi All,

Does anyone configure multiple fsxNet EchoMail Nodes/HUBs on their system?

Am thinking about redundancy, say if my designated hub is down for any reason, etc.?

Can one even post to multiple hubs, or just to their designated one?

Posting is almost secondary - but I was mostly thinking pulling data from multiple hubs, or maybe one closer to (latency-wise)?

Just random thoughts at 3am US/Eastern after playing my BBS for the past 12 hours.

    Cheers!

Yes, I am linked at hub 1 3 and 4.

Yes, your tosser needs to handle dupes OK. Mystic and synchronet both handle dupes well.

Outgoing messages will go to all linked nodes, hubs or not.

It's doable if you want or need to do that. Contact other nodes or hubs and arrange a link, the same way you linked with your current hub.
