• fsxNet application - to whom?

From Winzlo@21:1/172 to All on Sunday, June 21, 2026 18:34:35
I've been attempting to join fsxNet for about a month or so now, and according to documentation, I filled out the application, and sent it to [email protected]. I've done this twice now, with no response. Is that a stale contact or does it take that long to apply? I checked my mail server logs and there's no record of a *.nz attempting to deliver any messages, ruling spam detection out.

Any assistance would be greatly appreciated!

Head over to https://clrghouz.bbs.dege.au and set yourself up, and create or claim your BBS. If you get stuck call out.

When you are done, let me know and I'll give you the next steps.

Hi, Deon. I've registered the BBS, didn't see anywhere to indicate that it already exists on FidoNet (1:154/140) or Dove-Net (DOWNLO), but those are up and running, including tic prcessing.

    Standing by.

Hi, Deon. I sent you a NetMail, in hopes that you got it. I'm struggling with file echoes - I can only rescan back 365 days, and in doing so, I only get 3 file echoes:

    FSX_NODE
    FSX_INFO
    FSX_IMGE

How do I obtain the entirety of FSXNet's file areas? I have more than ehough storage to handle it. I'm wondering if I'm hitting some other limit that's preventing the transfer.

Any ideas? Anyone else have this issue? Being the newbie, can you help me out?

    Many thanks!

Yeah, I have a hard limit on 365 days to rescan - when I implemented file rescan capability. I'll look to remove it so that you can resend older files.

    FSX_NODE
    FSX_INFO

Most of the files in these areas are the same one, but updated, so the last one is probably all you want anyway?

Yeah, I think I could spend weeks or months looking at all the fonts until they started blending into each other. :) The hardest part is determining what kind of font I'm looking for based on the names the fonts are given.

At least the resource exists, that's a good thing.
